The Kagoshima University MEXT Scholarship is a two-year fully funded master’s program in agriculture, forestry and fisheries under Japan’s MEXT Special Admission Program. It targets international students and is taught in English, covering tuition and living expenses, with additional travel support. The program focuses on sustainable food production in tropical regions and accepts applicants for the 2026–2027 cohort.

Conditions d'éligibilité
Applicants must meet the eligibility conditions for the 2026 intake, including a GPA of 2.30/3.00 or higher, citizenship of a country with diplomatic relations with Japan (priority regions: Africa, Southeast Asia, Southwest Asia), birth on or after April 2, 1991, and either a Bachelor’s degree completed or expected by March 2026, 16 years of education outside Japan, or an equivalent qualification; field of study must align with Agriculture, climate resilience, or related areas; English proficiency at CEFR B2 or higher or an English-medium degree.
Candidature
Submit documents by email between 2025-12-08 and 2025-12-15, with original hard copies postmarked within the same period; interviews are part of the selection process and results are announced later.
