Rockefeller State Wildlife Scholarship

The Rockefeller State Wildlife Scholarship is a competitive state-funded scholarship for undergraduate and graduate students pursuing degrees in forestry, wildlife science, or marine science. It is administered by the Louisiana Office of Student Financial Assistance (LOSFA) and supports study at eligible Louisiana public colleges and universities. Awards are aimed at students building careers in natural resource conservation and environmental management. The scholarship provides financial assistance to eligible full-time students enrolled in approved degree programs.

Scholarship funding up to $12,000; financial assistance for undergraduate or graduate education; support to study at eligible Louisiana public colleges and universities; recognition through a competitive state-funded program.

U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, or eligible non-citizens who have been Louisiana residents for at least one year before July 1 of the scholarship award year; registered with Selective Service if required; enrolled full-time at a Louisiana public college or university; majoring in Forestry, Wildlife Science, or Marine Science; undergraduates must have completed at least 60 credit hours and have a minimum cumulative 2.50 GPA; graduate applicants must have a minimum cumulative 3.00 GPA.

Complete the LOSFA scholarship application and submit required documentation including academic transcripts, proof of full-time enrollment, proof of Louisiana residency, proof of citizenship/eligible non-citizen status, declared major documentation, and Selective Service registration if applicable before the deadline.
