SEARCA Full Master's and PhD Scholarships

The SEARCA Full Master's and PhD Scholarships provide fully funded graduate study opportunities focused on agriculture and related development priorities in Southeast Asia. The scholarships target applicants whose thesis or dissertation topics align with SEARCA's priority thrusts, including increasing farmers' income, improving food security and nutrition, and enhancing climate resilience of agricultural systems. The program supports study for Master's and PhD degrees and is administered through SEARCA's scholarship application system.

Open to nationals of SEAMEO member countries: Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam. Applicants for Master's and PhD studies are the target applicants.

Applicants apply through SEARCA's online scholarship system (ISCHO); call for applications opens 1 August 2025 and closes 30 September 2025.
