EuroHPC matching funds (2026) - call for invited applicants

The EuroHPC matching funds call provides funding to cover the self‑financing contribution of Finnish subprojects that have received funding in EuroHPC JU calls. Eligible projects may receive funding for up to five years in accordance with the EuroHPC funding decision. The Research Council of Finland is prepared to grant funding of up to 3.5 million euros for the present call.

Coverage of the required self‑financing contribution (50% of project costs) for eligible Finnish subprojects; project funding for up to five years; part of a total funding allocation up to EUR 3.5 million for the call.

Applications are invited from parties at Finnish research organisations that have been granted funding from EuroHPC JU calls. The funding is applied for by an individual Finnish research organisation; all Finnish consortium parties submit their own applications and the research organisation selects the person responsible for the application.

Applications are submitted by the research organisation via the Research Council of Finland online services (SARA) consisting of an online form and PDF appendices; the research organisation selects the person responsible for the application.
