Commemorate Canada

Commemorate Canada is a federal funding program that provides financial support to initiatives that commemorate historical figures, places, events and accomplishments of national significance. It supports projects conceived and taking place in Canada that relate to anniversaries of national significance and include an educational component. Eligible projects must be national in scope and free and accessible to the public.

Eligible applicants are Canadian not-for-profit and for-profit organizations (for non-commercial projects), Canadian public education establishments, and Canadian provincial/territorial and municipal governments and their institutions. Federal departments, their institutions and portfolio agencies, private individuals and political parties cannot apply.
