NSWMC Newcastle Mining Engineering Transfer Program

The NSWMC Newcastle Mining Engineering Transfer Program supports students who have completed the two-year Bachelor of Engineering (Mining Transfer Program) at the University of Newcastle and who will enrol in the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Mining) at UNSW. It is intended for students commencing the third year of undergraduate study in the Mining Engineering honours programme. Applicants are assessed on academic merit and aptitude and commitment to studies in Mining Engineering. The scholarship may not be awarded if no applicant of sufficient merit is identified.

Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident (including Humanitarian) visa holder, or a New Zealand Citizen; have completed two years (160 credits) of the Bachelor of Engineering (Mining Transfer Program) at the University of Newcastle; and be commencing the third year of undergraduate study (single or double degree) in Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Mining) at UNSW.

Submit an online application through the UNSW scholarships application portal with supporting documentation; incomplete or late applications/supporting documentation will not be accepted.
