NSWMC Newcastle Mining Engineering Transfer Program

The NSWMC Newcastle Mining Engineering Transfer Program is a scholarship supporting students who have completed the two-year Bachelor of Engineering (Mining Transfer Program) at the University of Newcastle and who will enrol in the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Mining) at the University of New South Wales in Term 1, 2027. The scholarship is targeted at students progressing into the third year of undergraduate mining engineering study at UNSW. The award facilitates the transfer pathway between the University of Newcastle and UNSW.

Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident (including Humanitarian visa holders), or a New Zealand Citizen; have successfully completed two years (160 credits) of a Bachelor of Engineering (Mining Transfer Program) at the University of Newcastle; and be commencing the third year of undergraduate study (single or double degree) in Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Mining) at UNSW.
