Arrell Food Institute Scholarships

The Arrell Food Institute Scholarships support doctoral and masters level students conducting research focused on agriculture and food. Eligible doctoral students receive up to $50,000 per year for up to four years; masters students receive up to $50,000 per year for up to two years, disbursed in three equal payments at the start of each semester. Recipients are expected to engage with the institute and participate in related collaborative projects; awardees are designated as Arrell Scholars.

Stipend of $50,000 per year for up to four years for PhD students; up to two years for Masters students; potential additional support for related academic activities and enrollment in required courses.

Open to doctoral and masters level students; selection based on outstanding academic achievement, relevance of proposed research, personal motivation aligned with AFI’s vision, and an interview with the scholarship selection committee.

Applicants must have applied for admission to an eligible graduate program and submit two referee assessments and all transcripts by the stated deadline.
