Global survey on participation in scientific organizations

The Global survey on participation in scientific organizations is a worldwide survey to understand how scientists engage with academies, unions and societies across disciplines and regions. It seeks to gather experiences related to access, leadership pathways, and inclusion to inform recommendations for more equitable participation. The survey is coordinated by the International Science Council (ISC) together with the InterAcademy Partnership (IAP) and the Standing Committee for Gender Equality in Science (SCGES).

No direct monetary benefits are described; participants contribute to research informing inclusive science governance.

Participation is open to all individual scientists affiliated with scientific organizations, including academies, unions, associations, societies, science councils, and young scientist organizations.
