Survey: Gender equality in scientific organizations

The International Science Council (ISC), the InterAcademy Partnership (IAP), and the Standing Committee for Gender Equality in Science (SCGES) are conducting a global survey to assess the representation and participation of women scientists in scientific organizations. The survey collects institutional data on gender representation, governance structures, nomination and election processes, and policies related to gender equality across member organizations. The 2025 edition aims to update the data baseline, measure progress, and inform recommended actions and accountability measures.

Participants contribute to a global report on gender equality in scientific organizations and gain access to aggregated insights and industry benchmarks.

The survey is addressed to member organizations of the International Science Council (ISC), the InterAcademy Partnership (IAP), and the Standing Committee for Gender Equality in Science (SCGES), including academies of science, medicine and engineering, young academies, and international scientific unions, councils and associations.

Complete the online survey via the provided links; a Word version is available for internal preparation but responses must be submitted online.
