It aims to foster research productivity, publications, and federal grant activity, while supporting pathways for students to pursue graduate STEM programs. Institutions may nominate multiple fellows across eligible fields to build research capacity.

Avantages

Teaching time reduction (50% buyout), protected research time, opportunity to develop an independent research agenda, mentoring of students, and potential for building externally funded programs.

Conditions d'éligibilité

Accredited HBCUs may apply and nominate junior tenure-track faculty candidates in mathematics, neuroscience, physics, and ecology and evolutionary biology for consideration.

Candidature

Submit a letter of interest (LOI) by the stated deadline, followed by a full application if invited, as part of the institutional nomination process.
