Information

The Simons Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) Faculty Fellowship program funds junior tenure-track faculty at up to five HBCUs by buying out at least 50% of their teaching responsibilities for a period of one to five years, enabling protected time for research and mentoring students. It aims to foster research productivity, publications, and federal grant activity, while supporting pathways for students to pursue graduate STEM programs. Institutions may nominate multiple fellows across eligible fields to build research capacity.

Eligibility
