AQHA Amy D. Bell "Pay It Forward" Memorial Scholarship

The AQHA Amy D. Bell "Pay It Forward" Memorial Scholarship is an annual award administered by the American Quarter Horse Foundation to support a four-year undergraduate degree. The total award of $12,500 is distributed over four years to a deserving young person who has been an active participant in the AQHYA and who demonstrates values of love for the American Quarter Horse and service to others. The scholarship honors the memory and legacy of Amy D. Bell and recognizes civic and community service.

Applicant must be a current member of the AQHA or AQHYA with at least three cumulative years of membership; must also be a member of the NYCHA (youth cutting) or NRCHYA (youth cow horse) for at least three years. Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and demonstrate compassion, benevolence and fortitude through civic or community service activities. Scholarship funds must be applied toward a four-year undergraduate degree.
