Ida B. Wells Society Investigative Fellowship 2025

The Ida B. Wells Society Investigative Fellowship 2025 is a no-cost, intensive program that brings professional journalists to Atlanta to sharpen investigative reporting skills. Up to 12 fellowships are awarded, with four weeklong training sessions held across the year, including preparation for publication of proposed projects in participants' newsrooms.

Applicants must have at least three years of professional news reporting experience and be U.S.-based print, broadcast, online or multimedia journalists. Freelancers may apply with a supporting news organization.
