FOCS 2026 Travel Awards

The FOCS 2026 Travel Awards provide financial support to help students and postdoctoral fellows attend the FOCS 2026 conference. Awards include a registration fee waiver and, depending on funds, accommodation for the duration of the conference; awards may also partially support travel. A portion of the funding is provided by the National Science Foundation with eligibility restrictions described below.

Students who lack funding and postdoctoral fellows may apply; priority is given to student authors/co-authors of accepted papers without other support, student applicants with strong statements of benefit, postdoctoral authors without other support, first-time applicants, and students who have not recently received travel stipends to FOCS or STOC. A portion of NSF-funded awards is restricted to US-based students and postdoctoral fellows.
