SIGMOD 2026 Student Travel Grants

The SIGMOD 2026 Student Travel Grants provide scholarship awards to selected students to support attendance at the SIGMOD/PODS 2026 conference. Awards include a stipend to partially cover travel expenses; the stipend amount will be determined based on available funds and number of awards. Awardees are expected to register for the main conference and make their own travel and accommodation arrangements. Applicants do not need an accepted paper to apply, though primary authors of accepted papers are especially encouraged to apply.

Applicants must be full-time students (undergraduate, graduate or PhD). Students worldwide are welcome to apply; priority is given to students whose advisor cannot provide financial support. An applicant may not receive more than one travel award in total.

Submit required materials via the Google Form link by the deadline; required materials include name, school, degree program, advisor letter stating lack of sufficient advisor funds, one-page abstract, CV, and acceptance notification if applicable. Notification date: 2026-05-03.
