AAUW International Project Grants

The AAUW International Project Grants provide funding to alumnae of AAUW International Fellowships to implement community-based projects that improve the lives of women and girls in their home countries. Grants build on the recipients' academic work and target critical equity issues affecting vulnerable populations. Recipients serve as the primary project director and oversee programmatic, administrative, fiscal, and editorial decisions for their projects.

$10,000 grant to fund a community-based project addressing women’s equity issues and support for project implementation under the alumna’s direction.

Applicants must be alumnae of AAUW International Fellowships who have successfully completed the fellowship and associated reporting requirements; must hold citizenship in a country other than the United States; must implement the project in the alumna’s home country; and must serve as the primary project director.

Confirm eligibility as an AAUW International Fellowship alumna; develop a project plan addressing needs for women and girls; prepare documentation proving completion of the fellowship and academic program; submit a detailed grant application outlining goals, impact, and implementation strategy.
