Informations
The Stevan B. Dana Project Grants provide modest annual awards to support ASOR-affiliated archaeological field projects, with particular emphasis on newer and smaller excavations and on discrete components of larger projects. Grants may be used to purchase equipment, fund a discrete smaller initiative, or support off-season research and analysis. Three Dana Grants of $5,000 each will be awarded in 2026. Applicants must be directors or senior staff of ASOR-affiliated projects and awards are intended for direct project expenses only.
Avantages
Monetary award of $5,000 to support project expenses, equipment purchase, discrete initiatives, or off-season research/analysis.
Conditions d'éligibilité

Only one application per excavation project/site will be funded in a given year; preference is given to projects that have not received an ASOR project grant in the past three years. Dana Grants are not designed to fund travel for student volunteers or junior staff.
