Youth Scholarships for the United Nations Chemicals and Waste Study Programme 2026 in Geneva

This scholarship supports participation in a multi-week United Nations Chemicals and Waste Study Programme in Geneva, hosted by CWYP in collaboration with UNITAR. It targets youth, students, recent graduates, and early-career professionals interested in chemicals and waste management and related fields. Up to five participants receive fully-funded travel grants to attend the programme from 23 June to 17 July 2026, including related sessions with the Basel Convention OEWG-15 and the 62nd Human Rights Council.

Economy-class international travel, hotel accommodation, coverage of study programme fees, meals reimbursements, visa fee reimbursements, other transportation reimbursements, and UNITAR Certificate of Completion

Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years old, come from developing countries, LDCs, SIDS, or be a representative of Indigenous Peoples, and be available to travel and participate in the full duration of the programme.
