Information

This scholarship supports participation in a multi-week United Nations Chemicals and Waste Study Programme in Geneva, hosted by CWYP in collaboration with UNITAR. It targets youth, students, recent graduates, and early-career professionals interested in chemicals and waste management and related fields. Up to five participants receive fully-funded travel grants to attend the programme from 23 June to 17 July 2026, including related sessions with the Basel Convention OEWG-15 and the 62nd Human Rights Council.

Eligibility

Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years old, come from developing countries, LDCs, SIDS, or be a representative of Indigenous Peoples, and be available to travel and participate in the full duration of the programme.
