University of Helsinki Masters Scholarship 2026

International students are invited to apply for the University of Helsinki Masters Scholarship 2026 to study for free in Finland. Scholarships are awarded to excellent tuition-fee liable students from outside the EU/EEA who want to complete a Master’s programme at the University of Helsinki. The scholarship offers either 50% or 100% tuition fee waivers for up to the duration of the Master’s program.

Tuition fee waivers (50% or 100%) for the duration of the Master’s program; additional benefits include student meal discounts, reduced public transport rates, and access to university services.

You must be eligible for the Master’s programme at the University of Helsinki and be liable for tuition fees as a non-EU/EEA citizen without permanent residence in Finland.

Identify the Master’s programme, review application instructions, complete the scholarship application using the same form as the Master’s programme application, and submit all required documents.
