Future Innovators in Data Science Scholarship

AUC Data Science Initiative’s Future Innovators in Data Science Scholarship is a monetary award for students pursuing data science-related majors or minors. It is aimed at promoting academic excellence, innovation, and career readiness in data science among AUC HBCU students. The scholarship awards $2,000 per recipient and provides support throughout the academic year. The program is funded in partnership with NextEra Energy.

$2,000 cash award per recipient and academic-year support

Applicants were required to maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 and be full-time HBCU AUC students enrolled in data science-related majors or minors such as computer science, data analytics, engineering, cybersecurity and information technology.

Applicants meeting the eligibility criteria were considered and recipients were chosen through a selection committee led by NextEra Energy and the AUC Data Science Initiative.
