A two-week institute run by the University of Washington School of Law that provides legal professionals, researchers and international students with a foundation in the structure, culture and practice of the U.S. legal system. The program combines asynchronous recorded lectures with daily synchronous classes and includes small-group tutorials, visits to courts and agencies, a visit to a large law firm, and social events on the UW campus. It is offered in early September each year and is intended for professional development and preparation for U.S. law study.
