FAO Online UN Volunteers 2026: Join the International Year of the Woman Farmer Campaign as an Online Campaign Advocate

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) is inviting individuals to apply as Online UN Volunteers to support its advocacy campaign for the International Year of the Woman Farmer (IYWF) 2026. Selected volunteers will serve as Online Campaign Advocates, helping FAO extend the reach of its awareness campaign through digital platforms on a fully online basis for 12 weeks, with a time commitment of 1–5 hours per week.

Opportunity to support a United Nations initiative, flexible online volunteering from anywhere, practical experience in digital advocacy, strengthened communication and social media skills, expanded professional network, CV enhancement with international volunteer experience, and experience working with a UN agency.

FAO is looking for enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about advocacy and digital communication, with interest in gender equality, sustainable development, and agriculture or agrifood systems. Applicants should have experience with social media, strong communication skills, and working knowledge of English; knowledge of Arabic or French is a plus but not mandatory. Previous UN volunteering experience is not required.
