The U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) SBIR/STTR Scientific Instrumentation Pilot 2026 invites startups and small businesses to develop next-generation scientific instrumentation, experimental platforms, and enabling technologies to advance scientific discovery. The program provides non-dilutive funding across multiple award mechanisms, with opportunities including Phase I, Phase II, Fast-Track, Phase IIB supplements, and Strategic Breakthrough Awards up to $30 million for exceptional projects.
