ETH Postdoctoral Fellowships 2026–2027 at ETH Zurich: Fully Funded Opportunity for Outstanding Early-Career Researchers

The ETH Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme (ETH Fellows) at ETH Zurich is a highly competitive, two-year fellowship designed to support outstanding postdoctoral researchers from around the world. Fellows conduct independent research with mentorship from ETH Zurich faculty and gain access to world-class research infrastructure and resources in Switzerland.

Salary coverage for two years and dedicated funds for research expenses, travel and conference participation, plus access to ETH Zurich research infrastructure and mentorship from faculty.

Applicants must hold a PhD or complete their PhD within six months after the submission deadline; if not yet completed, a certification of the planned defense date must be provided. Applicants who already hold a PhD must have obtained the degree no more than two years before the submission deadline. At least one peer-reviewed publication or a prize for doctoral thesis is required.
