The International Court of Justice Judicial Fellowship Programme is a professional fellowship for recent law graduates to gain experience by working at the ICJ. Fellows work full-time under a judge’s supervision, conduct research and draft memoranda, attend hearings, and perform related duties. The programme duration is approximately ten months, from early September to June of the following year, with about 15 participants selected from universities worldwide.

Requisiti
Eligible candidates should be 31 years old or younger at the start of the fellowship, must demonstrate excellent results in their legal studies and an interest in public international law, and must have fluency in at least one ICJ official language (English or French). Universities nominate candidates; individuals cannot apply directly.
Candidatura
Universities must submit applications on behalf of candidates, including nomination letter, personal history form, reference letters, academic records, writing sample, and candidate profile summary; all documents are sent via the university focal point to the ICJ.
