Commonwealth Foundation Grants 2026 for Civil Society Organisations

The Commonwealth Foundation Grants 2026 offers funding to civil society organisations to support constructive engagement with decision-makers. Grants are up to £60,000 and are intended to advance one or more of the Foundation’s priority themes: Health Justice, Freedom of Expression, and Climate Justice. The programme is open to not-for-profit CSOs registered in eligible Commonwealth member states and requires planning for activities starting after August 1, 2026 and before September 2026.

The applicant must be a not-for-profit civil society organisation (CSO) registered in an eligible Commonwealth Foundation Member State, with at least three years of demonstrable experience in participatory governance and advocacy within the project's themes.
