Agriviva offers young people aged 14 to 25 the chance to live with a Swiss farming family and help with various tasks, from farm work to child care and house chores. Participants stay from 1 to 8 weeks (minimum two weeks if in another linguistic region) and experience life in a rural setting while improving a national language. The program covers accommodation and meals on site, with a weekly allowance of 12 to 20 CHF depending on age; a modest registration fee is charged.
