2027 Italy-AOSIS Fellowship Programme

The 2027 Italy-AOSIS Fellowship Programme is a one-year, fully funded fellowship for early-career professionals from AOSIS member countries to gain hands-on training in law, policy and science related to climate change, ocean, environmental protection and sustainable development. Fellows work at their UN Permanent Mission in New York and receive comprehensive training, negotiation experience, and stipends and benefits to support their work.

Full-time fellowship in New York with housing/travel support, training in climate, ocean and sustainable development issues, negotiation experience, and opportunities to participate in international conferences.

Open to eligible nationals of AOSIS member countries, subject to the programme’s other eligibility requirements.

Applications must be submitted via the applicant’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York; materials include an endorsement letter, written sample, biodata page, CV, and related documents; submissions are in English.
