The program consists of a series of hackathons organized by CILAR in partnership with the CRRF National Anti-Racism Fund to empower underrepresented Canadians to address hate speech using AI-driven solutions. Participants will learn to detect and counter hate speech and work toward reducing algorithmic bias in corporate systems. The initiative focuses on building real-world AI applications that promote inclusivity and racial equity in technology.
