Informazioni

The ViGOR Research Fellowships 2026 invites applications for research fellowships in two areas: Virus Genomics and Outbreak Modelling. The program is funded through NIHR and aims to strengthen public health research capacity in Central/East Africa by supporting genomics, bioinformatics, and outbreak modelling work for 9–12 months.

Benefici

Budget support for research, affiliation with a recognized institution, and opportunity to conduct genomics or modelling research with public health impact.

Requisiti

Open to individuals working in public health labs/departments or early-career researchers with a Master’s and/or PhD (up to 6 years post-PhD) and affiliated with a recognized academic or public health institution in Eastern or Central Africa.

Candidatura

Submit a research proposal with budget and supporting documents through the ViGOR Fellowships application channels.
