EPFL Life Sciences Summer Research Program 2026

An 8-week summer research internship at EPFL for undergraduate and master’s students to undertake hands-on laboratory research under faculty and scientific staff mentorship. The program runs on-site in Switzerland and includes scientific seminars, workshops and a closing symposium. Participation includes accommodation, a stipend and coverage of international travel expenses as described by the organiser.

Monthly stipend (1700 CHF), free accommodation, international travel expenses covered; access to mentorship, seminars, workshops and a closing symposium to present research.

Open to applicants worldwide who have completed at least two years of undergraduate study or are in the first year of a master’s program by the program start; recent graduates within one year of finishing a Bachelor’s are also eligible. Applicants should be students in biology, biophysics, chemistry, bioengineering, bioinformatics, quantitative biology or related fields and have a solid foundation in core life science subjects.
