Academic Internship Opportunity – Swiss Mission to the UN in Rome, Fall 2026

The Permanent Mission of Switzerland to the United Nations Organisations in Rome is offering a full-time academic internship (100%) beginning November 1, 2026, for a duration of 12 months. The internship provides exposure to diplomacy, policy analysis, and multilateral governance within FAO, IFAD, and WFP, and involves supporting Switzerland’s positions and attending related meetings and events.

Applicants must be Swiss citizens with a university degree (preferably Master’s) and meet language requirements (English and one Swiss official language, with knowledge of another Swiss official language advantageous). Graduation must be within the past 12 months.
