Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Program (GFD) Fellowships

The Geophysical Fluid Dynamics (GFD) Program is a ten-week summer research and lecture program at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution focused on the nonlinear dynamics of rotating, stratified fluids across Earth, ocean, ice and atmosphere applications. It brings together graduate students, postdoctoral researchers and academic visitors for intensive research experience, seminars and lecture series. The program produces annual proceedings and fosters cross-disciplinary exchange among participants and visiting scientists.

Graduate students and researchers with an interest in the nonlinear dynamics of geophysical fluids; academic visitors with relevant expertise are also welcome.
