SYPALA 2026 IMANI Opens Applications for Africa’s Premier Policy Seminar

The IMANI Center for Policy & Education has opened applications for the 12th Students and Young Professionals African Liberty Academy (SYPALA) 2026, a four-day pan-African summer seminar for outstanding undergraduate students and recent graduates across Africa. The program emphasizes economic resilience, inclusive governance, and policy insight, with essays serving as the basis for admission and interaction with world-class faculty during the residential seminar.

Full four-day residential seminar access, free accommodation, a full scholarship covering participation costs, and engagement with world-class faculty and policy experts.

Applicants are undergraduate students and recent graduates from across Africa who are passionate about policy and governance and must submit an original essay as part of the application.
