EMA Traineeships

The European Medicines Agency offers traineeships at its headquarters in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The programme provides university graduates or students with work experience in the Agency, with a structured placement running from 1 October to 31 July each year and contributing to understanding of the Agency’s role in the EU.

Monthly stipend and travel support; professional experience at a European Union agency.

Recent university graduates (up to 12 months after graduation) or university students enrolled in an Erasmus+ or similar programme or PhD students, depending on the area of work; good command of English (minimum level C1) and proficiency in one or more official EU languages (minimum B2). Trainees must be citizens of EU Member States or the European Economic Area.
