Summer Health Professions Education Program (SHPEP)

The Summer Health Professions Education Program (SHPEP) is a free summer program for students to explore interests in medicine, dentistry, nursing, optometry, pharmacy, physical therapy, public health and related health professions. The program runs at partner institutions and offers opportunities to develop competencies needed for health profession program applications, plan academic pathways, gain clinical exposure, and network. SHPEP enrolls cohorts of scholars and maintains an alumni network dating to its 1989 launch. The program is administered by the SHPEP/MSIPI National Program Office in partnership with multiple U.S. universities.

프로그램 수업을 통한 과정과 역량 개발, 임상 경험, 학업 계획 지원, 네트워킹 기회가 제공됩니다. 또한 파트너 호스트 기관에서의 참여는 학생에게 별도 비용 없이 진행됩니다.

의학, 치과, 간호, 안경광학, 약학, 물리치료, 보건 분야 같은 보건 직업을 탐색하고 싶은 학생 대상입니다. 자격 요건이 확대되어 대학 3학년생도 포함되었습니다.
