The Youth Leadership Academy is a yearlong program focused on providing global leadership and advocacy tools to young activists through training and mentorship. It aims to develop skills in advocacy, project management, relationship building and public speaking, with a focus on youth civic participation, protection from violence and health equity. Participants create a solution-based leadership project guided by mentors and may participate in Plan-sponsored events and a final symposium.

Housing, food, supplies and transportation during the residential academy; mentorship from Plan staff and Youth Advisory Board; participation in year-long leadership projects and related activities; potential involvement in Plan-sponsored events.
지원 자격
The YLA consists of 50 high school students between the ages of 13-18 from around the country and requires participants to live in the U.S. during the program.
