About this opportunity
The Youth Leadership Academy is a yearlong program focused on providing global leadership and advocacy tools to young activists through training and mentorship. It aims to develop skills in advocacy, project management, relationship building and public speaking, with a focus on youth civic participation, protection from violence and health equity. Participants create a solution-based leadership project guided by mentors and may participate in Plan-sponsored events and a final symposium.

Eligibility
The YLA consists of 50 high school students between the ages of 13-18 from around the country and requires participants to live in the U.S. during the program.
