GE Aerospace-Reagan Workforce Readiness Scholarship

The GE Aerospace-Reagan Workforce Readiness Scholarship provides financial awards to high school seniors pursuing technical education and training for careers in aerospace, manufacturing, and technology. Scholarships are for students enrolling in community colleges, trade schools, or certification programs aligned with workforce needs. Recipients may receive awards of up to $20,000 paid over two years to help cover cost of attendance. The program reserves a portion of awards for students from military families and uses a multi-stage selection process with semifinalist and finalist rounds.

Current high school seniors graduating in spring who are U.S. citizens, attend school in the United States or its territories, and plan to enroll in a community college, trade school, or technical program by January 31 in eligible technical fields (e.g., advanced manufacturing, aviation maintenance, welding, electrical technology, CAD, or logistics). Employees or affiliates of sponsoring organizations and their families are not eligible.

Complete and submit the online application between March 1 and May 1; request and submit required recommendation materials before the deadline; semifinalists submit additional materials by specified dates; notifications by June 15 and final results by July 31.
