Gates Cambridge Scholarship Programme 2025/2026 to study in the United Kingdom

The Gates Cambridge Scholarship Programme offers full-cost scholarships for outstanding applicants from countries outside the United Kingdom to pursue postgraduate study at the University of Cambridge. It covers a wide range of courses and includes additional discretionary funding in specific areas. Applicants are selected for intellectual ability, reasons for choosing the course, leadership potential, and commitment to helping others.

Open to citizens of countries outside the United Kingdom who are applying to pursue one of the following courses at the University of Cambridge: PhD (full-time or part-time), MLitt (full-time), or a one-year postgraduate course (full-time).

Submit an application for admission and funding through the University of Cambridge Graduate Application Portal; complete the Gates Cambridge funding section during the process.
