Karin-Witte-Preis

The Karin-Witte-Preis is an award intended to facilitate and support the continuation of academic careers at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg for particularly qualified early-career female researchers. It is aimed at female researchers at OVGU from engineering sciences, natural sciences or related disciplines who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievements following their doctorate. The prize is endowed with €5,000, awarded without earmarking. Applications may be submitted as self-nominations or upon recommendation and must include specified documents.

The prize is aimed at exceptionally talented female researchers at OVGU who can demonstrate outstanding academic achievements following completion of their doctorate; applications may be self-nominations or by recommendation and must include specified documents.

Applications (self-nomination or recommendation) submitted electronically to the Vice-Rectorate for Research and Technology and must include motivation/recommendation letter, CV, publication list, tabular summary and statement from the Dean.
