2026–2027 United Nations UNSCAR Application Cycle: Apply for Funding to Advance Conventional Arms Regulation and Disarmament Initiatives

The United Nations Trust Facility Supporting Cooperation on Arms Regulation (UNSCAR) invites eligible organizations worldwide to submit project proposals that strengthen conventional arms regulation, improve weapons management, and contribute to international peace and security. The programme funds initiatives that enhance arms control, build national and regional capacities, and support development of policy frameworks, with a competitive annual funding cycle and special-circumstances projects available for rapid responses. Successful proposals are expected to begin implementation in 2027.

Financial support to implement projects, capacity building, and potential rapid-response funding for emergencies; coordination with UNODA and access to UNSCAR guidelines and templates.

Applications are welcomed from organizations with legal status, including United Nations system partners, regional and international organizations, NGOs, and research institutes; member States may access funding by partnering with an eligible organization.

Submit proposals using the official UNSCAR application templates via the UNSCAR website; include a completed application form, a logframe with a detailed implementation plan, and a detailed project budget.
