The IIAS Asia in the World Fellowship Programme 2027–2028 is a nine-month international research fellowship organized by the International Institute for Asian Studies (IIAS) at Leiden University, Netherlands. It combines a residency at international partner institutions with a research stay at IIAS in Leiden, aiming to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and global perspectives on Asia. The program targets early- to mid-career researchers and knowledge professionals and offers structured research opportunities, seminars, and international networking.

Benefícios

Elegibilidade

Applicants should hold a PhD (or be defending by September 2026) and be early- to mid-career researchers or knowledge professionals.

Candidatura

Submit an online application via the IIAS Fellowship webpage with a research proposal and supporting documents by 10 September 2026; shortlisted applicants will provide two reference letters and a short video presentation
