Rockefeller Foundation Bellagio Center Residency Program 2026

The Bellagio Center Residency Program offers a four-week residency at The Rockefeller Foundation Bellagio Center in Lake Como, Italy, for a interdisciplinary cohort of scholars, artists, practitioners, and leaders to work on breakthrough projects. The program provides focused time for participants to advance their work, collaborate across sectors, and become part of the Bellagio Network upon completion.

Up to four weeks at the Bellagio Center, room and board with a private studio, access to a community of scholars and practitioners, travel funding, and ongoing connection to the Bellagio Network.

Open to university- and think-tank-based academics, researchers, professors, and scientists; artists and writers; and senior-level policymakers, nonprofit leaders, journalists, and public advocates who align with the Foundation's mission.

Initial Pre-Application Questionnaire to verify eligibility, followed by an online Expression of Interest to share background and proposed project; shortlisted candidates are invited to submit a full application.
