Asian Development Bank-Japan Scholarship Program 2026

The Asian Development Bank–Japan Scholarship Program (ADB-JSP) provides full funding for Master’s degree study in approved fields at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa and supports participation in East-West Center programs. It is aimed at citizens of ADB developing member countries who pursue graduate studies in economics, management, science and technology, and other development-related fields in the Asia-Pacific region. Recipients are expected to return to their home countries after completing their studies to contribute to socioeconomic development.

Full tuition and fees, roundtrip travel, housing, monthly stipend, textbooks, health insurance, visa sponsorship.

Citizens and current residents of developing member countries of the Asian Development Bank who are not more than 35 years old at the time of application, with a 4-year bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and at least 2 years of full-time professional work experience; must meet English proficiency requirements.
