DAAD Development-Related Postgraduate Courses Scholarships 2026/2027 for study in Germany

The DAAD Development-Related Postgraduate Courses Scholarships provide foreign graduates from development and newly industrialised countries the chance to pursue a postgraduate or Master’s degree (and in exceptional cases a doctoral degree) at a German university. The program covers study-related costs and related allowances, with additional benefits possible, to support further training aligned with development goals.

Monthly stipend, health/insurance coverage, travel allowance, potential rent subsidy and family allowances.

Graduates with at least two years of professional experience from development and newly industrialised countries, eligible to undertake a postgraduate or Master’s degree in Germany (and in exceptional cases a doctoral degree).

You may apply for up to three courses, with courses listed in order of priority.
