TWAS Seed Grant for New African Principal Investigators (SG-NAPI) 2026

This grant program provides research funding for early career researchers who have obtained their PhD abroad and recently returned or plan to return to an academic position in an African country identified as lagging in science and technology. Grants support high-level research projects across multiple disciplines and are awarded by TWAS with support from partner institutions.

Research grant up to USD 67,700 for high-level projects and related research support.
