The DW Akademie French-speaking Master’s in International Journalism Programme (MFJI) is a two-year master’s degree that combines academic and professional training in Bonn (Germany) and Tours (France), with practice emphasized from the first year and a long end-of-studies internship in the student’s country of origin. Ten candidates are selected each year and receive an excellence scholarship covering tuition and living expenses. The program culminates in a master’s degree from the University of Tours, along with a certificate of achievement issued by DW Akademie and the Public School of Journalism of Tours.

Điều kiện tham gia
The programme is aimed at media professionals from French-speaking partner countries of German development cooperation in North and West Africa; candidates living in these countries are given priority. Applicants must have a higher education diploma (bachelor level or higher) obtained less than 10 years ago and at least one year of professional experience in media/journalism; proficiency in French (C1/C2) is required, with English knowledge considered an asset.

Two-stage admission: eligibility file review followed by an oral interview and a written test; tests conducted remotely in March 2025; results communicated by email between April and May 2025.
